Five Years in Kansas City - Thanks to You!

Thank you for five great years! How wonderful to connect with you and Greater Kansas City in building a dream!

In the last twelve months: 'True 100% Fundraising Program', the new "Little BillBoards That Never Expire"™, a new Media Partnership with the Sun Publications, and a nice letter from Kansas Governor Mark Parkinson congratulating our company for contributions to the community - and a 2009 Award of Merit from the State of Kansas Department of Commerce.

The whole idea behind MyJoeCard.Com was to build something special and give it to the World. I always loved Kansas City's 'Secret Santa' that would give out $100 bills to complete strangers during the holidays. I couldn't afford to hand out $100 bills to strangers. . . but give people a card that helps them save money at an ever growing list of local businesses? That I can do! If we can rid the World of paper coupons and junk mail at the same time? Even better.

The latest stats on the waste involved with printing paper coupons show that over 285 Billion paper coupons were printed last year - and that less than half of a percent of those were actually redeemed. That is gross.

Going Green is the way to be! Each time someone spreads the word and gives a friend a MyJoeCard - we reduce that amount of waste. It wasn't much at first back in '04 when we started, but by working every day with the help of thousands of wonderful clients and cardholders - that impact has become significant and will continue to grow.

We continually work to add value for you, Dear Cardholder, by adding new, exciting offers/promotions by local merchants. By improving our marketing/advertising products and services for business members, we continue to grow.
